Derby’s Newest Clockmaker

Location: MUSEUM OF MAKING 

Duration: Full Day

Booking and Prices: £15.00 + VAT per pupil. This session allows 25 pupils (minimum) to 35 pupils (maximum).

Content: Follow in the footsteps of world-renowned Clockmaker’s Smith of Derby and give your class a unique opportunity work in our state of the art Studios to become a fully fledged Clockmaker in Derby!

Learners will be immersed in Derby’s rich Clockmaker history by exploring the collections in our galleries. Then by using tools, machines and cross sectional instructions, they will be influenced by Smith of Derby’s iterative making practice to make a unique clock for themselves or someone else.
