For classes of 30 children, we recommend five accompanying adults.

Where do I get a risk assessment for my visit?

Risk assessments will be given once the visit is booked with our team. After booking, teachers are sent a ‘Preparing for Your Visit’ pack. Included with this will be a copy of the relevant Derby Museums’ risk assessment(s). These are a guide only and are not intended to replace your own risk assessment or any paperwork you are required to complete for your school. Please share copies of the risk assessment with your accompanying teachers and helpers.

Teachers may wish to make a familiarisation visit to our museum sites prior to the school visit. Please see our visit page for information on independent visits.
