Plan your visitIn the heart of Derby city centre lies a treasure trove of wonderful exhibits waiting to be discovered. The Museum and Art Gallery is home to the largest collection of Joseph Wright paintings in the world, and more besides. Connected to the beautiful 19th century library building, the Museum and Art Gallery is a maze of varying architecture and intriguing collections, each room very different from the last. We invite you to come and explore - you’ll never know what’s around the corner!
The Museum and Art Gallery will be closed to visitors on Sunday 23 April for essential work to take place for the renovation of the Museum Shop.
