The Prospect

A fresh and exciting way of co-working

Looking for an inspiring new place to work in Derby? Check out The Prospect, a contemporary 20 desk co-working space located at the Museum of Making.

The Prospect is pleased to announce that starting October 1st, we are introducing a new £9 daily rate, opening our doors to all without requiring a membership. This allows anyone to access our tranquil, creativity-inducing space in an affordable and flexible way.

This co-working space provides the perfect environment for freelancers, remote workers, and entrepreneurs seeking a change of scenery from the standard coffee shop or home office. Work alongside other like-minded professionals in a light-filled setting with access to breakout spaces throughout the museum.

Not only will you be immersed in inspiration from the past to spark new ideas, but co-workers will also enjoy:

  • 25% discount on food and drink at The River Kitchen
  • 10% off museum-programmed learning activities
  • 10% discount in our shops at Derby Museum and Art Gallery and the Museum of Making
  • An added bonus is the new loyalty reward scheme – visit 9 times and your 10th day is free!

The Prospect is open Tuesday to Saturday from 10am to 5pm and Sundays from 10am to 4pm.

Come join a creative, inspiring and supportive community of like-minded people by working at The Prospect. Share ideas, access peer support and make new connections.
