The Makory at Woodland Festival

The Makory will be making an appearance at the Woodland Festival at Elvaston’s Castle, featuring some amazing objects, fascinating stories and making activities for all ages!

The Makory, Derby Museums’ mobile Museum of Making is touring the region, engaging people with the ongoing story of making throughout Derby and Derbyshire, as the new Museum of Making at the Silk Mill undergoes development. The Makory forms part of the Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site Great Place Scheme, a programme of activities engaging people with the uniqueness of this UNESCO site.
