Retro Arcade Event: Saturday 21 September Day Session

Enjoy a weekend of gaming!

*Please note, this event will be held at the Museum & Art Gallery on The Wardwick (old library)*

Travel back to a world of retro gaming with a weekend of over 50 arcade classics to keep everyone entertained.

Join us for a weekend of retro arcade classics like Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, Frogger and more. If vintage consoles and computers are more your thing, don’t worry – we’ve got that covered too with the likes of the incomparable Snes and PS1. There will also be a retro board game table if you need a break from the arcades!

You can enjoy classic 1980’s films and music along with a retro merchandise stand. Once inside, all games and movies are free to enjoy. There is an on-site bar and cafe available, including retro sweets.

 

Tickets: £10 adults, £7 under 12s, free for under 2s*

Group ticket (4 adults): £36

Family ticket (2 adults, 2 under 12s): £30

*A £2 surcharge will be added to any ticket bought on the door

1942, After Burner, Arkanoid, Asteroids, Asteroids Deluxe, Battlezone, Berzerk, Bosconian, Burger Time, Centipede, Crazy Taxi, Defender, Dig Dug, Donkey Kong, Kung-fu Master, Double Dragon, Frogger, Galaga, Gauntlet, Side Arms, Hang-On, Hyper Sports, Indiana Jones, Mappy, Marble Madness, Millipede, Missile Command, Mortal Kombat, MS Pac Man, Pacman, Pac-Mania, Neo Geo 4-Slot Multi Game System, Nintendo Playchoice 10, Paperboy, Phoenix, Outrun, Popeye, SEGA Megatech, Space Invaders Part 2, Star Wars Cockpit, Street Fighter II, The Simpsons, Time Crisis 2, Toobin, Track & Field, TRON. Plus a virtual pinball machine with over 575 tables.

All games are suitable for children. Some movies (in the pop up cinema) in the evening session may not be suitable for children. The arcades and consoles range from 1980s to 1990s.
