Drawing for Relaxation: Portraits

Drawing for Relaxation is a series of short video tutorials. Take some time out of your day to experience the calm you can achieve by learning a new drawing technique or process. In this session, we’ll be painting a watercolour self-portrait inspired by our Malcolm Porter exhibition.

You will need:

  • Pencils
  • Rubber
  • Pencil sharpener
  • Soft paint brushes
  • Watercolour paint
  • Water in cup
  • Tissues to mop up watery bits and paper
  • Mirror
  • Small lamp for directional light – optional

Suitable for young people and adults.
