In June 1817 a group of around 300 men, from the villages of Pentrich and South Wingfield, set out to march on Nottingham as part of what they believed was a much bigger uprising against the government. To mark the 200th anniversary of the Pentrich Revolution and its suppression, Derby Museums will be exploring the causes, events and legacy, including some iconic objects linked to the revolt.
