We met with Kirsty to discover more about her, here is what we found out…
- Many of the people that Joseph Wright painted chose to be depicted with an object that tells us something about them as a person. What object would you choose and why?
It would have to be a huge fishbowl glass filled with my favourite gin and tonic (and ice and a slice of course) I just LOVE gin!
- If you could be any animal from the Nature Gallery, which would you be and why?
I’d have to choose two – as I’m a bit of a ‘momma bear’ and am good at giving hugs I’d choose the sun bear but I’d also choose the pheasant – their feathers are all shiny and sparkly and I love a bit of bling ……apparently they are quite noisy too but the less said about that, the better!
- What makes you happy?
Family, friends, socialising , eating out, gin, summer sunshine, enjoying life and having fun.
- What do you love to do in your spare time? (Aside from working at the museum, obviously)
I love to spend time with my family and friends which is generally a noisy affair and usually involves eating, drinking and chatting all mixed in with lots of laughter
