We wanted to find out more about Jen, so we sent her these questions and this is what she had to say…
- Many of the people that Joseph Wright painted chose to be depicted with an object that tells us something about them as a person. What object would you choose and why?
My backpack. I love the sense of freedom that comes with heading off to explore another part of the world. Josh and I made great memories over the years and I can’t wait to have similar adventures with my toddler.
- If you could be any animal from the Nature Gallery, which would you be and why?
The hare, as I always seem to be dashing through life.
- What makes you happy?
Spending time with my boys, travelling and country walks are three of my great pleasures in life.
- What do you love to do in your spare time? (Aside from working at the museum, obviously)
I love to spend time feeding the ducks at Attenborough or jumping around on a bouncy castle with Oscar (which seems to be my every Wednesday morning).
