Join Derby Museums Friends
We offer both Individual and Family memberships, so whether you want to take advantage of free entry to our series of Friends talks, or are looking for new ways to create and discover as a family, we have a membership package to suit what you love most about Derby Museums. A Friend membership also makes a great present for someone who enjoys visiting Derby Museums.
How to join
You can become a member by visiting our online shop or selecting a Direct Debit link below. You can also pick up a leaflet from either the Museum and Art Gallery or Pickford’s House
Individual membership, £26 per annum
- Events programme exclusive to our Friends including socials
- Free entry to our programme of ‘Friends talks’
- An exclusive e-newsletter, The Orrery, including articles and the latest news and information on upcoming events published every 4 months (This is available as a printed version for a small donation of £6).
- 10% discount in our café and shops
If you are aged 25 or under, you can enjoy these benefits for only £10! Come into the museums to complete a membership form.

Individual + guest membership, £31 per annum
With our Individual + Guest Membership you can receive all the same benefits as our Individual Membership, with the additional bonus of bringing someone along with you to any of our Friends events!

Family membership, £35 per annum
Covers 2 adults and up to 4 children under 16

Lifetime membership option from £260
Derby Museums now offers the option to purchase lifetime membership with a discounted option for members over 65. Life membership options range from £260 – £470. You can become a life member of the Derby Museums Friends via our online shop
