Saturdays 3 February – 17 March 2018

1.30-3.30pm

Are you a budding Roboteer?  Do you want to learn how to build, program and make a robot move?

We are thrilled to be working with Debs and Simon Cook, who built Chompalot in the Robot Wars series, who will share their knowledge , expertise and enthusiasm to inspire a new generation of roboteers.

This is a free 7-week programme taking place at Pickford’s House for six weeks and culminating with Robot Day at Quad on 17 March.  We are looking for 12 enthusiastic 10-14 year old girls and boys to join.  You don’t need any existing robotic knowledge, just bags of enthusiasm and commitment! As there are limited spaces please register your interest in taking part – please email us with your name, age and why you want to be a young roboteer in your own words (max 300 words).

The closing date for registering your interest to kathryn@derbymuseums.org is Sunday 21 January and we will respond to you by Friday 26 January. *Please note you will need to attend each Saturday for 7 weeks.
