The Midland Railway Study Centre

Open for special events and by appointment only

Through a collaboration with the Midland Railway Society (now merged with the Roy F Burrows Midland Collection Trust) the combined collections form the UK’s largest pre-nationalisation railway archive and an unparalleled Midland Railway research facility. The collection contains a wide array of written documents, photographs, plans and drawings, models, original signage and large objects for researchers to explore. All visits are facilitated by our knowledgeable volunteers to ensure you are able to find what you’re looking for. Find out more or book a visit via www.midlandrailwaystudycentre.org.uk
