Secrets of The Egyptians

Session: 2 hours of delivery.

Booking and Prices: This session allows 25 pupils (minimum) to 35 pupils (maximum). 

Standard Learning Session is £7.50 + VAT per pupil.

Our outreach sessions have an additional charge of 40p per mile for our facilitators travel costs to your school from our museums site.

Session Description: Hear the fascinating story of a scribe called Ramose and learn what life was like for him and his family in Ancient Egypt over 3000 years ago. The class will be split into groups where they will learn more about some Ancient Egyptian artefacts called Shabtis and have a go at being scribes. The children will then discover the process of mummification using replica objects.
