Having met when they were students at Derby University, the trio of Sophie Barkerwood, Gemma Barkerwood and Louise Croft spent a significant chunk of their formative years studying and dreaming in the beautiful gothic surroundings of Derby Library. And when the building became an events space, the band immediately added it to their wish list of unusual spaces to play – having previously performed in a planetarium, a Victorian swimming baths, a Victorian courtroom, an Estonian cinema, several churches, the Royal Albert Hall, and the Westminster Reference Library.
There will be two performances. An all-ages, family friendly matinee (doors 2pm, one adult ticket allows for one under 16 to enter for free) where the trio will play a quieter set for little ones and their grown-ups, and an evening show for adults at 7pm.
Support for the evening show will come from R Dyer.
