First Fridays: Folk Fun Palace

Join us at the Museum of Making for an evening of folk-inspired workshops and performances. Have a go at traditional making, with music from artists involved in this year’s Derby Folk Festival.

Free to attend, co-produced with Derby Folk Festival.

Come along to The River Kitchen before or during the event from 5.30pm-7.30pm to enjoy an intimate menu of locally sourced produce, cooked to perfection.

Our first special menu is based on local game and rustic autumnal vegetables, and will be different to our next menu created for future First Friday events.

Please view the menu here.

Booking not essential, but recommended. Please contact us via [email protected]

*Due to the River Kitchen running a limited menu for evening services, it is essential that they know in advance if you have any dietary requirements*

First Fridays is a series of co-produced after-hours talk, workshop and performance-based events co-produced by individual makers, artists and creative and community organisations.
